Why I Created MoneyMakers.com

For most of my career, I have worked with people who build, grow and protect valuable things, businesses, reputations and digital identities.

I have also seen how difficult it can be for startup founders to get the right people to notice what they are building.

A founder may spend years developing a product, understanding a market and winning their first customers. Yet when they are ready to raise capital, they often discover that building a promising company and attracting investors are two very different challenges.

A strong startup can remain invisible simply because its founder lacks the right network, does not know how to communicate the opportunity clearly or cannot consistently reach relevant investors.

That is the problem I want MoneyMakers to help solve.

From Digital Trust to Startup Visibility

Over the past sixteen years, through my work with Hacked.com and other ventures, I have helped thousands of individuals and companies recover compromised accounts, secure their digital identities and rebuild trust online.

That experience gave me a close view of both the possibilities and the risks created by the internet.

Technology can give anyone access to global markets, customers and opportunities. But it also creates noise, misinformation and uncertainty. It has become easier than ever to publish something online—and harder than ever to know which people, companies and opportunities are credible.

The same problem exists in startup investing.

Founders struggle to stand out among thousands of competing companies. Investors struggle to identify credible startups that match their experience, interests and investment strategy.

Both sides are searching for each other, but the connection often never happens.

Great Startups Should Not Depend on Personal Connections

The startup ecosystem still relies heavily on introductions.

Founders with established networks can reach investors through previous colleagues, accelerators, advisers and other founders. Those without those connections are often left sending cold emails, entering pitch competitions or hoping the right person discovers them.

That means access to investors can depend as much on who a founder knows as on what they are building.

I do not believe it should work that way.

A founder with a strong idea, a capable team and genuine progress should have a credible way to present the opportunity—regardless of geography, background or existing network.

That is why I built MoneyMakers.com.

MoneyMakers helps startup founders strengthen their pitch, share their story and present their company to a growing network of more than 2,700 startup investors.

More Than a One-Time Pitch

A startup is not a static opportunity.

Products improve. Customers sign up. Revenue grows. New team members join. Partnerships are formed. Markets change. Milestones are reached.

Yet traditional fundraising often reduces the entire company to one pitch deck or one introductory email.

Investors rarely make decisions after seeing a startup once. They often want to watch the company develop, understand how the founder executes and see whether the business continues to make progress.

MoneyMakers is designed around that journey.

Founders can create their investor pitch, introduce their startup and continue sharing meaningful updates. This gives investors the opportunity to discover companies early, follow their progress and engage when the timing is right.

The goal is not simply to help founders ask for money.

It is to help them build investor visibility, credibility and momentum over time.

Why the Right Investor Matters

Capital is important, but the right investor can contribute far more than funding.

An experienced investor may help a startup:

  • Avoid costly mistakes
  • Refine its business model
  • Improve its pricing or market positioning
  • Recruit experienced employees
  • Reach potential customers and strategic partners
  • Prepare for future fundraising rounds
  • Enter new markets more effectively

The right investor may already have travelled part of the road the founder is about to take.

That experience can shorten the startup journey significantly.

A founder may spend months trying to identify the right sales strategy, partnership model or market entry plan. An investor with relevant operating experience may help them reach a better decision much faster.

That is one of the central ideas behind MoneyMakers:

The right investor should not only help fund the journey. They should help the founder move through it more intelligently.

Helping Founders Tell a Stronger Story

Many founders understand their product deeply but struggle to explain the investment opportunity clearly.

They know the technology, the customer problem and the work that has gone into building the company. But investors need to understand the opportunity quickly:

  • What problem does the startup solve?
  • Why does the solution matter now?
  • Who is the customer?
  • How large could the market become?
  • What evidence shows that the startup is progressing?
  • Why is this team capable of succeeding?
  • How will investment accelerate the company?

MoneyMakers includes a guided pitch-building process that helps founders structure these answers and communicate their company more effectively.

The purpose is not to replace the founder’s voice with generic language. It is to help the founder turn their knowledge into a focused, credible and compelling investment story.

Because investors cannot support an opportunity they do not understand.

And they cannot discover a startup they never see.

Building Trust Into Startup Discovery

Trust is essential whenever founders and investors connect.

Founders may be sharing sensitive information about their company, plans and finances. Investors need confidence that the opportunities they are reviewing are genuine. Founders need confidence that the people viewing their company have a legitimate interest in startup investing.

My experience with Hacked.com has made this especially important to me.

Artificial intelligence can now generate convincing profiles, documents, images and communications in seconds. As these tools improve, identity and credibility will become even more important in online business relationships.

MoneyMakers is therefore focused on creating a more credible environment for startup discovery, where founders can present their companies and connect with verified investors.

Technology should make valuable connections easier—not make people less certain about who they are dealing with.

For Startup Founders

MoneyMakers is built for founders who want to increase their visibility with startup investors.

You may be preparing for your first funding round, raising capital to accelerate an existing business or simply beginning to build relationships with investors before you need funding.

The platform helps you:

  • Build a clearer investor pitch
  • Present your startup professionally
  • Share your story with more than 2,700 startup investors
  • Publish updates as your company progresses
  • Give interested investors a way to follow your journey
  • Create opportunities for relevant investor connections

Fundraising should not begin only when the company is running out of time.

The strongest investor relationships are often built gradually. By sharing progress consistently, founders can create awareness before they formally begin a funding round.

For Startup Investors

Investors face a different challenge.

There are more startups, pitch decks and fundraising messages than any investor can realistically evaluate. Valuable opportunities are easily buried beneath irrelevant outreach and incomplete information.

MoneyMakers gives investors a structured way to discover startups, review their stories and follow companies that match their interests.

Instead of relying entirely on personal introductions or waiting for opportunities to arrive through existing networks, investors can explore promising startups from different industries, markets and stages.

Following a startup over time also provides context that a single pitch cannot.

Investors can observe whether the founder reaches milestones, responds to challenges and continues building momentum. This can lead to better-informed conversations when both sides are ready to connect.

Using AI to Support Better Connections

Artificial intelligence can make startup discovery more efficient, but it should not replace human judgment.

MoneyMakers uses technology to help founders organize their pitch, communicate their opportunity and improve how relevant startups and investors discover each other.

The objective is not to automate trust or investment decisions.

It is to reduce friction.

Technology can help founders present their companies more clearly and help investors identify opportunities worth exploring. The final decisions, relationships and investments remain human.

That is where they belong.

My Vision for MoneyMakers

I want MoneyMakers to become a place where startup founders can build investor visibility long before a funding decision is made.

A place where investors can discover promising companies outside their immediate networks.

A place where founders are evaluated not only on who introduced them, but on the strength of their idea, execution, progress and story.

We are not trying to create more noise.

We are trying to help credible founders communicate more effectively and help serious investors discover companies they may otherwise never encounter.

Because great startups can come from anywhere.

But without visibility, even the strongest opportunity can remain undiscovered.

MoneyMakers exists to help founders build a better pitch, share their progress and connect with the investors who could help them move forward.

Helping startups share their story with verified investors.
